Job Description

OVERVIEW:

ProPack Logistics US LLC provides World Class Logistics Service in Warehousing Fulfillment Freight Forwarding and Inventory Management. We specialize in serving businesses in Canada and the United States through our 4 locations in Washington Utah and Tennessee. SCHEDULE: Monday Friday. Day Shift.

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities with a specific emphasis on forklift operations. This role involves receiving processing organizing storing and distributing goods efficiently within the warehouse while ensuring the safe and skilled operation of forklift equipment. The specialist will also maintain accurate inventory records and uphold a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of forklift experience.
Proven experience working in a warehouse setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming goods checking for damages and discrepancies.
Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records using inventory management software.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
Operate forklift equipment and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to warehousing activities.

  • Unloading/loading trucks
  • Follow all picking processes SOPs and work instructions
  • Accurately pick orders in timely manner
  • Follow special instructions and vendor compliance documents
  • Dispatching carrier to arrange delivery
  • Aiding with the relocation of inventory.
  • Inspecting and signing for inbound shipments (identifying and noting damages confirming piece counts)
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure flow and throughput is optimized
  • Communicate with clients and carriers on inbound and outbound shipments
  • Pallet shipment (LTL) preparation (stretch wrap strap build pallets obtain weights and dimensions label etc.
  • Pallet handling within warehouse (into Pending area put away into bulk storage into mezzanine etc.
  • Maintain proper location management of pallets/product within warehouse
  • Miscellaneous warehouse projects
  • Miscellaneous Inventory related projects

  • Retirement Eligible upon hire. Must be 21 years of age or older are eligible to participate in the company 401(k) plan. Following 6 months of employment the company contributes 100 of your contribution for the first 1 if your compensation plus 50 of your contribution up to 6 of your compensation.
  • Vacation 1 year: 40 hours/year 23 years: 80 hours/year 4 years: 120 hours/year
  • Bereavement 24 hours per incident
  • Sick Time 1.3 hours per every 40 hours worked. Max of 52 per year.
  • Paid Holidays 6 paid days
  • Other Compensation Potential for yearend bonuses
