RN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ER Training Registered Nurses (RN) to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting in the overall management of patient needs. This position is in acute care in different areas of the Fraser Health including Abbotsford Burnaby Chilliwack Delta Langley and Mission. Shifts are 12 hour shifts days/nights.

Duties:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians utilizing a trauma informed patient centered approach
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Initial and ongoing assessments throughout treatment
• Ensure that the nursing facilitys policies procedures and standards are followed.
• Complete medical records by federal state and local regulations.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment by all local state and federal regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
• Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
• Provide information regarding the status of patients to physicians or other care providers.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license with BCCNM required

Min. 1 yr ER experience

CPR/BLS

Immunization Schedule including TB Test.

Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
