Accountability: Responsible for the management of all material (component) movement in the Signaling Company including inventory storage documentation shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities:
- Incoming Receiving of all materials into the Wire Shop and placement into proper storage locations.
- Labeling material and input of materials electronically into D365 MRP system.
- Ensure stock areas are properly laid out and labeled materials are properly stored stock is secured in designated area and aisles are clear and safe.
- Assist in shipping of finished goods to customers by loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
- Able to use forklift and other powered palletized equipment.
- Review Bill of Materials and pull material into kits for wire shop wire techs to enable ontime wiring.
- Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts with the assistance of Inventory Manger and other inventory personnel.
- Review and request any warehouse material transfers.
- Close out all sales orders/work orders/purchase orders for material receipt.
- Help coordinate monitor and track daily shipments of Signaling materials from Suppliers.
- Assist with quarterly inventory forecast models and projections
- Assist with cycle counts and yearend inventory coordination with Corporate Accounting/Finance and External Audit Team investigating variances and taking corrective action.
- Collaborate with Engineering Shop Wiring Production Materials and Quality to achieve cost reduction targets.
- Inventory management includes but not limited to: specialized signaling equipment commodity electrical supplies wire & cable field signaling materials and other inventory as needed.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge or Education and Experience:
- High school diploma is required.
- 12 years of prior work experience.
- Requires some understanding of inventory management and MRP systems including shipping and receiving processes.
- Must have the ability to multitask analyze data & report findings and have welldeveloped problem solving and creative solution skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Word Excel PowerPoint and ability to learn MRP (D365 AX).
- Highly developed people skills with demonstrated experience with all levels of personnel; and fastpaced multitasking environment.
Physical Requirements: Mobility to participate in travel if required to customer and supplier locations; lifting of up to 50 pounds in the performance of duties.
Environmental Conditions: Performs duties primarily in office / shop environment in and around moving vehicles. Occasionally performs duties in warehouse environment. Limited exposure to weather elements; and appropriate PPE required.
Major or Unusual Problems: Acquisition and inventory management of parts under short timeframes within a rapidly growing company. Necessity to be available solve and expedite problems to ensure adequate coverage for responding to problems.
