Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install repair and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Work as a team member or independently to complete projects.
- Aptitude to troubleshoot complex electrical and logic problems.
- Observe and abide by safety procedures policies and electrical codes.
- Accurately interpret technical documents for proper of assignments.
- Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.
- Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages; write code as needed.
- Moderate understanding of the mechanical and hydraulic processes; diagnose problems as needed.
Industrial Electrician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 13 years heavy industrial electrical experience required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems hand tools and industrial equipment.
- Awareness of national state and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated selfstarter who can manage projects and make decisions.
- Ability to read schematics blueprints and other technical documents.
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks such as lift heavy objects climbing ladders crawling etc.
- Able to work rotating shifts to meet the demands of production.
