Job Description
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
As a local accounting partner you are responsible for the efficient collection of outstanding receivables and the support of financial processes within the organization. You support the financial administration with tasks such as VAT returns purchasing reporting of the statutory annual accounts and coordination with external partners. You also coordinate collection tasks monitor payment terms handle customer inquiries and resolve disputes.Finance:
- Supporting the consolidation of financial data
- Backup for the indirect purchasing process
- Preparing the statutory annual accounts and the VAT return
- Coordinating with external partners (accounting department in Portugal tax authorities audit etc.
Collection:
- Developing and implementing collection strategies
- Monitoring payment terms and sending reminders
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving disputes
- Preparing collection files and reporting on progress
General:
- Collaborating with various teams (sales customer service etc.
- Reporting and contributing to achieving DSO targets
- Ensuring accurate and timely administration
Are you a MATCH
Knowledge and skills
- Accounting knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and office automation (Excel Google Suite)
- Knowledge of commercial law relating to debt collection
- Good communication skills (English and Dutch or French)
- Resultsoriented and problemsolving skills
- Experience with reporting the annual accounts and completing the VAT return.
