The Radiologic Sciences and Imaging (RSI) department at Kettering College is seeking a fulltime Advanced Imaging Instructor and Clinical Educator. Candidates must possess a bachelors degree (masters degree preferred) national certifications in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and a minimum of five years of field work experience. Previous teaching experience is preferred; online teaching experience will be given extra consideration. Applicants must show a marked desire to explore and navigate online teaching platforms and electronic clinical documentation systems. All candidates must possess strong communication and critical thinking skills problem solving abilities and a studentfocused approach.Since Kettering College is a faithbased institution supported by the Seventhday Adventist church SDA applicants are preferred; however a Christian world view is required. Candidates will be expected to employ their faith and spiritual support in their interactions with students and as a faculty member within the department.
Kettering College offers an associate of science degree in Radiologic Technology and a bachelor of science degree in Advanced Imaging with emphasis in Computed Tomography Magnetic Resonance Imaging Cardiac and Angiography. Students who graduate from the associate degree program and wish to continue their education can take all modality courses online and complete clinicals in the Dayton area. The fulltime Advanced Imaging instructor will teach all online CT and MRI courses coordinate clinical education for Advanced Imaging work closely with the RSI Clinical Coordinator participate in programmatic accreditation efforts and contribute to other college wide initiatives.
This is a threesemesters fulltime position with competitive salary benefit package and opportunity to grow. Weekly traveling throughout the Dayton area is required for this position as the Advanced Imaging educator will visit RSI students at their clinical site.
