Job Description
A medical billing role is available in Lakewood NJ. The position involves overseeing a team of billers and coordinating between the billing department and the medical practice. While prior medical billing experience is preferred the company is willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Include:
Team Management & Coordination:
Oversee a team of billers ensuring accuracy and efficiency in billing processes.
Coordinate between the billing department and the medical practice to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Billing & Documentation:
Ensure accurate billing for medical services and insurance claims.
Maintain thorough documentation and manage patient records in accordance with company and healthcare regulations.
Problem Resolution & Communication:
Address any billing issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Communicate with healthcare providers insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries and issues.
Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative tasks related to billing and medical records management.
Help maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations and policies.
Ideal Qualifications:
Prior medical billing experience is preferred but the company is willing to train.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of medical billing software and healthcare regulations is a plus.
