Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a top client who is seeking a skilled and motivated commercial real estate Interim Controller to join their team on a contract basis.

Hourly Rate: $60.00 $65.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triple net (NNN) reconciliations and track NNN changes (training provided for strong accounting candidates).
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Monitor and track late rents rent escalations late charges and lease expirations.
- Update NNN budgets for the upcoming year (training provided).
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Develop budget forecasts for properties and the company.
- Reconcile company credit card transactions.
- Generate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for lenders and investors.
- Collaborate regularly with tenants investors lenders and the company team.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting with preference for commercial real estate experience.
- Experience in triple net reconciliation and budgeting preferred.
- Proficiency in credit card and bank reconciliation.
- Strong financial reporting and budgeting skills.
- Experience with Rent Manager software is preferred (training provided for candidates with strong accounting skills).
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Must pass credit background and reference checks.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
