You have experience working in a multichannel highly automated Distribution Center where you collaborate closely with a team of managers and lead your team to ensure service levels are met quality standards are maintained and costs are kept in alignment with organizational expectations. A Day in the Life:
The typical day is atypical.
Operational Management:
Lead planning and of departmental operations in a multichannel environment to ensure cost and service goals are met; delivering quality service high productivity and acting as a role model
Monitor supply/demand forecasts and other key performance indicators to ensure adequate warehouse staffing and departmental capacities adjusting as needed to ensure labor costs stay in line with actuals and/or plan
Partner with crossfunctional partners to implement initiatives and department goals in support of corporate strategies and priorities
Lead and contribute to effective problemsolving as operational challenges arise using practical solutions and ensuring seamless
Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures including 5S and safety
Monitor performance levels and quality standards utilizing observations and available KPIs such as LMS productivity results; hold team accountable to those standards
Work closely with Customer and Client Services to ensure customer inquiries are resolved quickly
Challenge the status quo and identify and action on opportunities for continuous improvement with a goal of increasing efficiency reducing costs and enhancing the employee experience
Prepare and present reports on operational metrics challenges and strategies for improvement
Leverage your understanding of the endtoend fulfillment process to effectively coordinate across departments and shifts to ensure timely processing of orders accounting for upstream and downstream impacts of your department on overall completion
People Management & Leadership:
Manage supervisor(s) and team performance providing guidance coaching performance management and supporting growth and development to ensure a high performing team
Ensure consistency and fairness in the management of team members and adherence to company policies practices and procedures
Partner with Talent team to manage employee concerns promptly this includes performance challenges employee relations conflict resolution and corrective actions
Act as an Admired Leader maintaining strong floor presence approachability awareness and consistent connectivity and interaction with team members
Promote and exemplify Tory Burch Buddy Values fostering and encouraging an open and positive work environment
You may also handle other duties and rotate to other departments as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the Distribution Center.
Additional Department Specific Requirements:
Inventory Control: Responsible for inventory accuracy through cycle counting auditing and reconciliation minimizing discrepancies and supporting efficient operations
Packing: Responsible for accurate and efficient preparation of customer and retail/wholesale orders for shipment including the verification of items packaging items according to brand standards quality control and timely shipment preparation
Picking & Replenishment: Responsible for efficient and accurate order picking inventory restocking and workflow optimization to meet fulfillment targets
Receiving: Responsible for timely and accurate unloading inspection and putaway of inbound inventory while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards
Returns: Responsible for efficient processing of returned merchandise including inspection restocking and disposition decisions to support inventory integrity and customer satisfaction.
Shipping: Responsible for ontime and accurate order dispatch proper carrier coordination and compliance with shipping requirements to meet delivery expectations
To Land This Role:
H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. required
Bachelors degree and/or equivalent related experience
5 years of related experience in a distribution environment; 3 years of people management/people leadership experience
Proven leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example ability to motivate and inspire high performance and experience managing team members at various performance levels
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective crossfunctional relationships navigate interactions with all levels of management and maintain professionalism at all times
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to think strategically as well as tactically
Must have English proficiency (speaking and understanding)
Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a handson approach to problemsolving
Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to identify key information and leverage data to support planning and decision making
Experience utilizing various types of warehouse equipment and a strong knowledge of Safety requirements
Strong experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to excel in a fastpaced dynamic environment and balance and prioritize competing demands
Strong attention to detail and the ability be consistent when entering information repetitiously
Able to lift and move up to 35 lbs
Able to actively walk the warehouse floor; and stand for extended periods up to 12 hours
This facility is a multishift building so the right candidate must be flexible with their schedule to include nights and weekend schedules if/when needed
