Our Resource Strategy and Optimization department is looking for a Senior Manager Capital Program Organization and Strategic Workforce Planning to join the team! You will design processes to effectively plan and manage the longterm CPG strategic workforce inclusive of internal and external staff making up our One Team aligned to the project life cycle ensuring the right resources with the right skills to enable CPG to deliver the capital program to a highquality ontime and onbudget.
What will I be doing
- Develop and manage a strong collaborative CPG Division Operating Model that supports the delivery of the multibilliondollar Capital Program by identifying and aligning core capabilities and organizational structures for projects within the division.
- Develop implement and continually improve Strategic Workforce Planning Program for CPG divisions.
- Connect project lifecycle planning to develop Long Term Resource Load influencing overall headcount growth and supporting organizational priorities.
- Lead the development of new organization structures (e.g. new functions teams) and revision of existing structures aligned with the operating model and based on established organization design principles
- Develop and maintain CPG capabilities model and identify new and emerging capability needs areas of gaps and strategies to close gaps. Codify the strategic thinking and criteria for capabilities to hire/develop versus buy (i.e. through external consultants/partners).
- In Partnership with CPG leadership HR and Capital Finance develops a strategic 5 year Integrated OneTeam workforce plan that aligns to the capital forecast and feeds into enterprise resource planning
- Conducts diagnostics perform gap analysis generate insights and develop recommendations to closegaps in short/medium workforce needs and drives talent interventions to address them
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need
- Completion of a degree in Business Administration or a related discipline or a combination of education training and experience deemed equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders understanding business needs analytics and workforce planning background and implementing best practices and solutions across the organization; senior level experience managing operational performance and past budgeting experience.
- Business practices workforce planning & analysis and reporting
- Leadership skills to motivate a team and set high standards and clear expectations.
- Interpersonal and oral/written/presentation skills to develop reports and present to senior management and executives.
- Experience with data analytics PeopleSoft Microsoft BI and visualization tools
- Ability to gather and use data to inform decisionmaking and persuade others.
- Demonstrated acumen with metrics and/or KPI development tracking and evaluation.
- Demonstrated project management skills for largescale projects and initiatives.
- Knowledge of change management theories methodologies best practices tools and techniques Experience and knowledge of process improvement principles and methodologies (i.e. LEAN)
- Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders and partners.
- Relationship management and consulting skills to build rapport and credibility.
- High attention to detail balanced with appreciation of the biggerpicture goals and objectives.
