based in Norwich however travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk may be required
Full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday)
Starting Salary of 36618 with progression opportunities to 38849 per annum
Plus Company Vehicle and additional earning opportunities through involvement in the call out rota

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our hardworking team. We are looking for a bright spark to ignite their potential in helping to maintain our homes and make a difference for our tenants. The majority of the work will be in and around Norwich but travel may be required throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk and will be carrying out reactive works including fault finding void and EICR Electrical works to our homes.
The main focus of the role will be:
- To take ownership for effective and efficient electrical related repairs in occupied and vacant homes.
- To work as part of a team carrying out the company inhouse EICR domestic testing programme.
- To support the Planned Electrical Team from timetotime covering installations and other planned works e.g. Aids and Adaptations / Kitchens

About You
All staff and volunteers working for Broadlandwill always be expected to actin a manner that is consistent withour corporate values and behaviours.
The successful candidate will have one or more of the following qualifications or equivalents depending on qualifying period:
- City and Guilds 5357 including AM2S
- City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
- City and Guilds 2360 Part 1 and Part 2
- City and Guilds 2330 Level 2 and Level 3
As well as
- AM2 depending on when NVQ completed.
- City and Guilds or equivalent 2382 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations).
- Ideally a City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing (or be willing to work towards gaining)
- A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required.
- Experience of working in Property Maintenance
- Good IT skills
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will join our oncall rota.
