Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
- Track organize and document supplies materials and equipment that comes into and out of the labs.
- Enter update and maintain lab data including inventory levels maintenance events and incidents in appropriate databases.
- Generate simple reports on usage maintenance and inventory levels.
- Track time worked and efforts made.
Light 3d Modeling
- Assist with basic 3d model edits or simple 3d model modifications
- Prepare files for 3d printing.
- Clean and calibrate 3D printers.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Monitor prints for quality and accuracy.
Other Tasks as Assigned
- Support lab staff with administrative or operational duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Participate in special projects or research initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g. email spreadsheets file management).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a professional environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols including use of proper PPE
Preferred:
- Familiarity with 3D printing technologies or experience with 3D printers.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g. Blender Maya).
- Experience working in a laboratory or technical environment.
