    Job Goal: Design and lead a twoweek interestbased camp focused on reading writing or math intervention while incorporating outdoor STEM experiences utilizing the unique resources of the Knabusch Center (e.g. wetlands hiking trails Michigan plants insects and wildlife).

    Camp Sessions:

    • Dates: June 2327 July 718 July 21August 1
    • Workdays: Monday Friday
    • Kickoff Meeting: July 1 8:00 AM 12:00 PM (Teachers will be compensated at the $32.75 PD rate for this meeting.

    Compensation:

    Stipend based on experience:

    • 02 years: $37.50/hour $2100 for 2 weeks)
    • 35 years: $41.50/hour $2324 for 2 weeks)
    • 610 years: $45.50/hour $2548 for 2 weeks)
    • 11 years: $47.50/hour $2660 for 2 weeks)

    Reports to: Knabusch Center Director

    Qualifications:

    • Must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate.
    • Experience with datadriven instruction and intervention strategies preferred.
    • Strong ability to engage students in handson inquirybased learning.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and administrators.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Host camp and intervention groups Monday Friday 8:30 AM 3:30 PM.
    • Lead a thematic experiential learning camp incorporating STEM activities and outdoor exploration.
    • Plan and implement reading writing or math intervention based on district data needs.
    • Work collaboratively with an Enrichment Liaison during the twoweek camp session.
    • Maintain progress notes for all enrolled students.
    • Foster an inclusive respectful and engaging learning environment.
    • Attend Data Study Meetings and adjust instruction to meet student needs.
    • Participate in coaching cycles (Plan/Teach/Debrief) with instructional coaches.

    Camp Structure:

    • Kickoff Meeting: July 1 8:00 AM 12:00 PM (Paid at $32.75 PD rate).
    • Daily Schedule:
      • Morning Session: K3rd grade campers
      • Afternoon Session: 4th6th grade campers
