In this position you are an indispensable part of the product team and provide a fundamental contribution to the product success. You collaborate with crossfunctional teams and will work closely with product managers and metal tech experts in guaranteeing our prices maximize sales and are accurate. You are responsible for pricing strategies and processes anticipating market trends prices for product and shipping and challenging production costs. You will help to create innovative and valuable solutions for the complex requirements of our B2B environment.
Your mission
You manage customer price and production cost formulation of all product verticals and shipping aimed to maximize profitability and orders conversion
You define and enhance pricing processes improve efficiency ensure price integrity/accuracy and guarantee timely response to market conditions changes
You collaborate with product managers metal tech experts engineers and other necessary stakeholders to promote strategic and operational in the respective pricing scope
You establish and track metrics to evaluate pricing effectiveness and overall process quality
You carry out continuous qualitative and quantitative analysis to better calibrate prices costs and processes including data extraction analysis experiments customer interviews internal feedback etc.
Do learn and iterate fast: You see what went well or bad and iterate fast to achieve desired results
Your profile
5 years of relevant work experience in pricing online B2B sales finance consulting or similar
Completed studies (Bachelor Master or MBA) in the fields of Business Management Econometrics Economics Statistics Mathematics or related
Outstanding knowledge of pricing strategies & principles advanced pricing methodologies and techniques for estimating elasticity
Demonstrably strong analytical critical thinking and abstraction skills. Capable of breaking down complex problems into patterns and rootcause drivers
Ablte to use technology (e.g. SQL and Python) to extract manipulate and analyze data systematically aiming to generate insights make informed decisions and operationalize them in the organization
Enjoy working on a complex product and are passionate about technology and the digitalization of the traditional manufacturing industry. You challenge the status quo every day
Great written and verbal communication skills in English. Good German is a plus. You are wellstructured and able to interact with stakeholders inside and outside the company
