The Department of Dermatology seeks academicminded dermatologists and dermatopathologists to join our fulltime faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor. Boardcertified and boardeligible physicians with strong interests in the following dermatology specialties are encouraged to apply: Our department serves a diverse medically complex population within the greater Pittsburgh area while also drawing patients from throughout Pennsylvania and the tristate area. The expansive University of Pittsburgh/UPMC campus includes 40 hospitals 800 outpatient clinical locations and an international healthcare presence. The Department of Dermatology sees patients in our seven clinics providing services that include general dermatology phototherapy laser Mohs micrographic surgery and aesthetic services as well as inpatient consultations. Our Dermatopathology unit is onsite in our Oakland campus with four fulltime dermatopathologists and two dermatopathology fellows. Our teledermatology program provides synchronous and asynchronous care to patients throughout the state is utilized for inpatient consults and inoffice econsults with community physicians. Additionally we have opportunities for clinical research and collaboration with clinical and basic science colleagues on campus available to those with a research interest.
