Located at Chevrolet of Wayzata the Automotive Master Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Job Responsibilities:
Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to nonmechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factorysponsored training classes as appropriate
Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
Maintains an organized work area
Other duties assigned by manager
Job Requirements:
Automotive Service Technician experience
ASE certification desirable
Excellent customer service
Strong communication skills
Valid Drivers License
18 years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations.
