Job Description

Overview

Emerald is seeking a detailoriented outgoing and customer servicefocused Registration Operations Coordinator. This role focuses exclusively on supporting registration services across a portfolio of events.

The Registration Operations Coordinator owns preevent onsite and postevent tasks with responsibility for ensuring registration operations and logistical efforts are executed efficiently and in a costeffective manner. This role is balance of planning preparation coordination and . The best candidates for this position will have a meticulous attention to detail have an impeccable penchant for staying organized and keeping all stakeholders informed be a creative and flexible problem solver and have a customerfocused mindset.

Registration Operations Coordinators are required to be onsite at the events they support. The Registration Ops Coordinator must be comfortable with traveling from the onset of this position. This role will require travel of up 2540.

This position will be based out of our Alpharetta GA office.


Responsibilities

  • Research and make recommendations for vendors floor plans and costsaving measures related to registration services for the assigned events
  • Track expenses against the budget at all stages of planning and
  • Ensure communication with vendors and internal staff is timely clear and accurate adhering to specifications from internal processes and/or vendor requirements
  • Work closely with internal Sales and Marketing teams and vendors for assigned events to ensure timely clear and accurate relay of information between all relevant parties
  • Participate in planning meetings online registration website builds and provide quality control throughout the registration cycle
  • Provide support to show registrants and exhibitors when escalation from vendor customer service team is necessary
  • Execute the registration process onsite at each assigned event including ensuring all requirements are met expectations for each vendor and temporary staff are clear communication lines are open and any issues are resolved quickly
  • Assist in all aspects of show closing including accruals and coding providing information related to registration expenses and ensuring that all postshow communication with vendors has been completed
  • Assist Registration Operations Manager with special registration projects as assigned
  • Support the Registration Operations team with other events as required


Qualifications

  • Must be able to travel 2540 within the US
  • Experience providing administrative support
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word Excel Outlook
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Degree not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $50000 (NonExempt)

Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidates qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
