The Lead Tax Manager is responsible for analysis preparation and presentation of the income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly income tax accruals manage tax account reconciliations prepare financial statement disclosures for interim and year end disclosures analyze and manage uncertain tax positions and comply with company policy and SOX controls in accordance with ASC 740.
• Conducts research to advise management of the accounting implications of activities and analyze presentation of components of the income tax provision.
• Responsible for meeting all required deadlines.
• Works on extremely complex tax related issues and transactions where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. Identifies operational efficiencies and enhancements through use of automation and technology.

Job Contribution:

• Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field required. CPA license preferred.

Experience:

• 57 years of experience in an income tax accounting and/or income tax compliance role.
• Experience can be public accounting large corporate tax department or a combination of the two.

Our Lead Tax Manager earn between $118800 $178200. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
