Undewriter

We are looking for an experienced and licensed Property and Casualty (P&C) Underwriter to join our team on a parttime basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate insurance applications to assess risk and determine coverage eligibility.
• Analyze financial statements claims histories and other relevant documents.
• Ensure compliance with company underwriting guidelines and state regulations.
• Collaborate with agents and brokers to gather necessary information.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on underwriting decisions.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Valid P&C (Property and Casualty) license.
• Proven experience as a P&C Underwriter.
• Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with underwriting software and tools.

Salary: $50/hour
