Job Description
PLANT DESCRIPTION
Our newly commissioned plant(2022 features sidebyside assembly lines for 2 unique commercial roofing products(TPO and ISO). Both these products are manufactured with stateoftheart equipment in a clean safe bright facility. Great Team Environment with growth potential for the right person.

The Production Supervisor role will focus on producing a high quality product by leading employees to maintain a high level of awareness on safety environmental and process compliance.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
- Lead a positive change effort to improved performance by motivating recognizing and inspiring others to be effective and efficient in their activities
- Champion hazard identification evaluation and control through the behaviorbased safety and risk assessment programs
- Lead daily safety share encourage and recognize all safety behavior
- Increase employee engagement and improve the labor relations climate through participation in continuous improvement (get suggestions report problems participate in team problem solving sessions)
- Identify and coordinate trainings for production employee (Job training with STD work description SOP and WI Safety training STOP. FLRA and all others safety programs)
- Ensure proper documentation and complete reports (compliance checklists production reports spreadsheets metrics incident investigations etc.
- Evaluate employee performance monthly with coaching and support to achieve results.
- Continually improve the operational efficiency of the plant by submitting ideas and solutions
- Ensure a rigorous followup of all 5S
- Communicate efficiently between all departments and all staff
- For all breakdown or needed plant repairs make efficiently a service request to maintenance dept. as soon as possible
- Approve timecards vacations and all other Kronos and Workday requirements
- All other duties as assigned
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
- Postsecondary degree/diploma preferably in industrial technology or engineering business administration or management
- Minimum 5 years of handson experience within a fastpaced Manufacturing environment 3 of which must be in a supervisory role
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with handson problemsolving skills in a manufacturing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability in order to successfully manage a diverse group of employees
- Excellent communication (written verbal and presentation) and analytical skills
- Proven track record of operational enhancement and improvements through employee engagement demonstrated team building talent
- Excellent time management planning and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of KRONOS time and attendance system is an asset
Schedule Must be able to work a 10 or 12 hour rotating shift(days/nights) including some future weekends. Great schedule available!
WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;
- Travel is primarily local during the business day although some outofarea and overnight travel may be expected. Some specific training may require international travel.
- This position requires the legal ability to work in the United States
