Austin Heart would like to recruit a parttime .6 FTE) NP or PA to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Austin location. Qualified Candidates: Board certified ACNP or PANo FNPs Working with one interventional cardiologist and general cardiologistPrior cardiology experience preferredCall: 7 weekends a year24 hrs per week : Monday Friday 8am 5pmCombination of inpatient rounding and outpatient clinicStart date: ASAPLicensed in the state of TexasThe APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations ordering testing and developing a treatment plan monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologistThe candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess highlevel organizational and communication skillsIncentive/Benefits Package:Hospital employed opportunityCompetitive salary
