Job Description
Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth this Summer were looking to add a Plastics Engineering Intern located in our Buffalo Grove IL site.
Reporting to Operations Engineering the Intern will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning collaborating and working alongside Engineers and crossfunctional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assist Engineering Team with dryer validation plan silo validation spare parts and preventive maintenance and calibration
- Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team
- Learn new processes and evaluate results
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities were seeking for this internship assignment:
- Junior/Senior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major
- Understanding of an Injection Molding Process
- CAD tools (Solidworks AutoCAD) experience
- Lean/Six Sigma helpful
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative creative and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
- Ability to start on June 2nd and work 1012 week Summer assignment (inperson); 40 hours/week
- Currently enrolled in 4year accredited university
- 3.0 GPA
