We are looking for a Product Owner II who will:
The Product Owner II will be responsible for delivering new features from scratch for CSGs cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Product Owner with extensive product development experience to join our growing R&D team.
- Preparation and participation in PI planning Work with Product Management and other stakeholders to understand and clarify candidate features; collaborate with Technical Leads and other Product Owners on crossteam features to develop business use cases and assist in developing Level 0 estimates. Support team by providing context around functional and nonfunctional requirements dependencies and minimum viable product resolving ambiguities and clarifying relative priorities.
- Participation in sprint work Produce stories and define acceptance criteria; refine backlog and adjust backlog priorities as necessary; guide team with through Q&A and clarification; assist with exploratory testing or other verification as needed; formally accepts stories with support from the team and story demos.
- Grooming and facilitating defect backlog Maintain team defect backlog; work with client services and other external groups to prioritize backlog effectively.
- Maintain awareness of customer implementations Contextualize Product Management requests by liaising with services managed services and where possible customers so the intent of requests is deeply appreciated.
Is this opportunity right for you We are looking for candidates who have:
- Bachelors degree in information technology; Computer Science Engineering related field or equivalent experience.
- 35 years of experience in an agile product development environment building scalable highperformance complex applications.
- Strong industry experience in telecom BSS domain.
- Strong experience as Product Owner.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively in written and verbal form and participate in discussions with an aim to achieving shared understanding and a positive outcome.
- Negotiation Skills:Demonstrated ability to engage in negotiation to drive towards a solution that is acceptable for all parties.
- Decisiveness:Demonstrated ability to act decisively gathering pertinent information and moving forward in a timely way.
- Analytical skills:Demonstrated ability to break down business problems or highlevel solutions into smaller units that can be understood and delivered by a team.
