Job Description

Position Summary
As a Key Surgical Sales Representative at STERIS you are responsible for meeting or exceeding the annual sales plan by establishing growing and maintaining relationships for Customers in a defined geographical territory. You will be focused in either OR Sterile Processing or Endoscopy product groups customers for theKey Surgical product line.
You will create and work an individualized and multifaceted sales strategy comprised of new business generation existing business development and clinical education based on the needs of the territory. You will have primarily inside sales but also some outside sales responsibilities.
This is an onsite position based in Eden Prairie Minnesota.
What you will do as a Sales Representative
Identify and generate leads for future business and accounts that do not currently work with Key Surgical.
Increase order frequency and breadth of products used at current Customer facilities.
Develop and deploy sales campaigns by means of call lists health system approaches local contracts and national GPOs.
Build and maintain a subject matter expert level of knowledge about Key Surgical products industry standards and best practices.
Educate the customer through product recommendations and Clinical Education channels
Provide educational and product inservices to Customers both inperson and virtually.
Present at seminars tradeshows local conferences industry meetings webinars Customer accounts and other relevant settings within the assigned sales territory.
Obtain and retain relevant certification (CCSVP AORN Vendor Certification and/or G.I. Technical Specialist) according to product segment.
Respond efficiently and effectively to inquiries regarding product specifications functionality pricing competition and other requests.
Up to 20 travel within the assigned territory.
The Experience Skills and Abilities Needed:
Required
- Bachelors degree
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialling requirements
Preferred
- Sales and/or marketing experience
- Proven ability and passion for leading group presentations and training sessions both inperson and virtually
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

Pay range for this opportunity is $50000 $50000. This position is eligible for commission. The on target earnings are $105676.00
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors including but not limited to local labor market costs years of relevant experience education professional certifications foreign language fluency etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and longterm disability. FullTime Employees are also eligible for shortterm disability. Parttime employees working 20 or more hours receive a proration of the fulltime PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. FullTime employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Parttime employees also receive paid parental leave prorated based on their standard hourly work week.
