Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels receipts and issues of medicines and other pharmaceutical products.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and replenishment of stock.
- Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure all pharmaceutical products meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines and other items as per guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations including labeling documentation and handling protocols.
- Operational Management:
- Supervise daytoday operations of the pharmacy store ensuring efficient workflow and timely service.
- Implement and oversee inventory management software or systems.
- Coordinate with other departments for requisitions and timely delivery of medications.
- Team Supervision:
- Lead and train pharmacy staff in inventory handling documentation and customer service.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inventory sales and purchase transactions.
- Report discrepancies or issues promptly to management and recommend solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Masters Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory or pharmacy store management.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer applications (e.g. MS Excel).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
