Programmer / Developer ROLE We need an experienced Programmer / Developer at theMarine Corps Public Health Center (NMCPHC). NMCPHC provides leadership and expertise to ensure mission readiness in support of the National Military Strategy. NMCPHCs core scientific and technical capabilities and product lines are to conduct Health Surveillance Epidemiology and Analysis; Disease and Injury Prevention; and PH Consultation and Support for the benefit of activeduty service members retirees and their families. RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in resolving IT program and implementation issues with crossplatform data and IT Systems
Assist in the planning and designing of systems architecture to support command requirements
Proficient with TEAMS SharePoint Excel Access and PowerPoint
Develop and maintain electronic correspondence systems other administrative tackers and dashboards which are compatible with DHA platforms
Train and guide command staff in the use of all electronic administrative processes
Document all stepbystep procedures for programs developed for the command
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical skills in VMware Infrastructure 5 4.1 VMware ESX 3.5 and VMware Fusion/Workstation
Technical skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) and experience in developing SQL reports
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
Minimum five years of experience with system administrator duties
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree preferred
Designed and implemented system architecture testing and security protocols
