Daily Nanny/Housekeeper Chelsea/South Kensington (family relocating from New York).
Native Spanish Speaker with fluent English

A warm mature and highly experienced Daily Nanny/Housekeeper is sought for a professional family in Chelsea/South Kensington. This role is best suited to a kind nurturing and mature candidate who likes to create a warm and stable home with a proven track record of longterm roles and extensive experience caring for young children.This is a truly lovely role for a loyal kind and experienced nanny who will be treated as part of the family.

Key Requirements:
- Native Spanish speaker (essential) with fluent English
- Extensive experience in similar longterm roles to demonstrate stability and commitment
- British or EU passport some travel to New York required during school holidays
- Energetic and engaged must be happy to keep up with inquisitive little girls who love arts & crafts dressing up baking and sports activities
- Strong cooking skills (a passion for homecooked meals is highly desirable)
- Reliability and flexibility parents have demanding jobs and occasional travel commitments
- Friendly and proactive the family is new to the UK and would love a nanny who can help them settle in
- Punctual and reliable the family will depend on you
- A can do helpful and positive attitude you need to make the home feel welcoming
- Genuinely loves to be around children this will show in your positivity and day to day engagement with the children
About the Role:
- Monday to Friday 7am 7pm (For the right applicant the hours may be negotiable slightly such as an earlier finish when possible)
- Sole charge of twogirls aged5 years & 2.5 years when not at school/nursery
- The youngest child attends Nursery from 8am 2.30pm leaving the time inbetween childfree the family is open to how this time is best utilised for example:
- Cooking family meals
- Housekeeping
- Family Laundry
- Home organisation/tidying
- Organising and planning activities for the children/summer camps etc
- Household PA duties/diary management/appointments
- Grocery shopping/meal planning
- A mix of the above the family welcomes suggestions as long as the time is utilised and benefits the household
- A driver is desirable but not essential
- Applicants must be happy to walk children to and from school and use public transport with ease to reach activities
- Confidence to advocate for the children in your care
- Additional pay for babysitting travel and overnight stays
- Travel: Open to negotiation in the region of 12 weeks 46 times per year
- Contract and PAYE
- Sponsorship is not provided
- There are no household pets
- Parking is not available
- Spanish is essential
