Summary
The Spacecraft Assembly Integration and Test Technician will be responsible for assembling integrating and testing spacecraft components and systems. This includes working with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all components are properly installed and tested to meet project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assemble spacecraft components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Fabricate flight electrical harnesses and route them within the spacecraft using aerospace standard processes and procedures.
- Install and test electrical and mechanical systems
- Perform functional and environmental testing of spacecraft components and systems
- Document test results and report any issues to the engineering team
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Ideal Experience
- Experience in space aerospace aviation or military assembly integration and testing.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Desired Skills
- High school diploma and 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
- Prior or current IPCA620 NASA 87394 and JSTD001 certifications

Pay range
$26.06 $53.17/hr.
How We Determine What We Pay (Compensation Philosophy)
Redwiredetermines pay for positions using local national and industryspecific survey data for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. For new hires we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicants level of experience education and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally we consider the external market rate the amount we have budgeted internally and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will be considered for higher pay.
