We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health services crisis intervention and case management to individuals families and groups. The LCSW will assess client needs develop treatment plans provide therapy and connect clients to essential community resources. This role requires strong clinical expertise excellent communication skills and a commitment to improving the wellbeing of diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients emotional behavioral and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidencebased practices.
- Provide individual group and family therapy to clients facing mental health challenges trauma or life transitions.
- Offer crisis intervention risk assessments and suicide prevention strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians psychologists and case managers to ensure coordinated care.
- Connect clients with community resources social services and support networks.
- Advocated for clients rights and access to appropriate mental health and social services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on best practices emerging therapies and changes in mental health policies and regulations.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to social work interns or unlicensed professionals (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure & Certification:
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in any one of the 50 states the District of Columbia Puerto Rio or the U.S. Virgin Is;amds
- Additional certifications in traumainformed care cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) are preferred.
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
- Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities (e.g. CBT DBT motivational interviewing).
- Excellent communication interpersonal and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of Medicaid Medicare and private insurance regulations related to mental health services.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience in clinical social work behavioral health or counseling.
- Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with mental illness trauma substance use disorders or chronic health conditions.
