Senior Director of Global Benefits

As the Senior Director of Global Benefits you will be at the forefront of designing and driving HubSpots benefits strategy globally ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and industry standards. This role requires a deep knowledge of industry practices the ability to manage complex benefits programs and a strong capability to collaborate crossfunctionally across the organization

Reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards this leader will define the strategic direction for global benefits that aligns with HubSpots vision and transform complex challenges into clear strategic initiatives that drive largescale measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Benefits Program Management: Oversee and continuously improve the design implementation and administration of all employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans leave policies and wellness initiatives. Ensure that these programs are competitive compliant and meet the diverse needs of HubSpots global workforce.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and manage relationships with external brokers insurance carriers and other benefits vendors. Negotiate contracts and optimize service delivery and costs leveraging industry expertise to get the best outcomes for HubSpot and its employees.
  • Industry Expertise: Serve as HubSpots internal expert on global benefits staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes. Use this expertise to inform strategies that support business objectives and employee satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and CrossFunctional Leadership: Work collaboratively with HR Finance and other departments to ensure seamless integration and of benefits programs. Utilize companyfirst leadership to break down silos and foster collaboration to move organizational objectives forward.
  • DataDriven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of benefit programs and make evidencebased decisions. Track key performance indicators to monitor benefits performance and make informed improvements.
  • Cultural Leadership: Inspire and shape an engaged and motivated departmental culture that aligns with HubSpots strategic goals. Lead by example in making strategic decisions and tradeoffs and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Education: Develop communication strategies to ensure that employees understand and engage with their benefits. Provide education and support to help employees maximize the value of their benefits.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all benefits programs comply with legal requirements in various geographies where HubSpot operates. Oversee audits and reporting to maintain compliance and address any issues promptly.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Proven experience as a seniorlevel executive in global benefits management including strategic leadership and program management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex benefits programs and working with external vendors and brokers.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience in developing and managing highperforming teams.
  • Strong decisionmaking abilities and a strategic mindset to drive and support organizational change.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to clearly convey complex strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Experience leading transformational initiatives and aligning teams with organizational objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in datadriven decision making to evaluate benefits plans and performance.

Cash compensation range:USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary ontarget commission for employees in eligible roles and annual bonus targets under HubSpots bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpots equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate including their skills experience qualifications and other jobrelated reasons.
