Head of Renewables (RES) Origination (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to shape the RES Origination teams success and push the energy transition forward. In this role you will develop and implement commercial strategies foster key client relationships and drive innovation in renewable power markets. If you have a strong background in energy trading a passion for sustainability and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment this is your chance to make an impact. ACT NOW! Your responsibilities:

  • Drive the overall performance of the RES Origination team as PnL Producer aligning with Business Platform Germanys (BP Germany) and Sales and Energy Management (S&EM) s strategy
  • (CO)Develop new Products that will address the needs of SEMs customer base in collaboration with Structuring Trading Portfolio Management
  • Propose define and implement the commercial strategy for SEMs BP Germany maintaining and developing relationships with internal and external clients and generating new business.
  • Thinking front to back processes
  • Set up the needed processes in order to implement the above
  • Rethinking existing processes and automatize if possible
  • Scalability is a continuous driver of your working approach
  • Develop team members and represent the RES origination team building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and functional departments (Trading Operations Risk Back Office Credit).
  • Represent ENGIE at conferences client events and presentations working in a dynamic trading floor environment to push the energy transition to the next level.

Your Profile:

  • Masters degree in Science Engineering Finance Economics or a comparable field
  • Several years experience in the energy business with strong commercial/contractual experience and expertise in renewable power market activities (Origination & Trading).
  • Strong knowledge of energy market products (power certificates renewable trading/operations) with a track record in PPAs origination & sales. Excellent negotiation communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable in dynamic and changing environments. Solutionoriented with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
  • Professional proficiency in German and English; any other language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python or a comparable language is beneficial
