Job Description

Contract Details: This contract is located in near Golden CO and will last the remainder 24/25 school year. The contract pays $56 / hour (local) and $2430 /week (travel) for 37.5student contact hours per week with a full benefits package. Before applying for the position please ensure you are eligible to work in Colorado as a Early Childhood Special Education Teacher or already a licensed Early Childhood Special Education Teacher with the Colorado Department of Education. Pending licenses are accepted. Role Details: The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students prekindergarten through grade 3. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff. Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education preferred Certification for Early Childhood Education (Child Development Associate CDA) as required by state/ client or contractComplies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicableTB questionnaire PPD or chest xray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal state and local requirements Strong organizational skillsMust be at least 18 years of age
