Job Description
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
- Minimum 3 years RDBMS administration experience
- Minimum 3 years NoSQL database administration experience
- Experience with the planning data modeling and development of database tables into usable database schemas
- Experience developing complex ad hoc queries for database storage and retrieval
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native database monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of database backup and restore best practices
- Knowledge of database High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) best practices
- Experience with troubleshooting and sustaining one or more databases in a critical Linux production environment
- Familiar with testing various processing storage and retrieval systems using backend databases such as MySQL Elasticsearch MongoDB OpenTSDB and ArrangoDB
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles concepts and tools such as Ansible and Salt Stack
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA Confluence)
- Experience with Git Version Control System
