About this role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and drive projects within Carrier Transicolds Truck/Trailer business segment and ensuring that products meet customer needs and market requirements. The position will lead multifunctional product development teams including identification of team members allocation of resources development and maintenance of individual and group/development team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and : Develop detailed project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed according to these plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams providing clear direction and support to ensure project goals are met.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets track expenses and implement costsaving measures. Advocate for additional funding when necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including clients team members and executives. Provide updates on project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure standards are maintained.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including reports proposals and meeting minutes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years of experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in project management preferably in the transportation or manufacturing industry
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project Asana)
- Familiarity with truck trailer manufacturing processes and industry standards
- Strong interpersonal skills communication and leadership
- Customer focused
- Ability to interact constructively with diverse teams including international elements
- Ability to manage multiple sometimes conflicting priorities
- Strong product quality tool knowledge and practical application experience
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee project sites and meet with stakeholders.
