Data Center Operations Engineer Slough & London
Join a growing global hosting company and take your career to the next level! We are looking for a Data Center Operations Engineer to support our UK Data Centers in Slough and occasionally London.
In this role youll manage logistics ensuring seamless hardware ordering shipment handling and hybrid infrastructure provisioning. Working alongside two experienced Data Center Operations Engineers youll play a key part in maintaining efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee logistics including incoming and outgoing shipments inventory management and order processing
- Manage infrastructure moves changes and provisioning
- Maintain accurate daily stock levels
- Work closely with technical and network teams to troubleshoot issues
- Assist in provisioning new and existing technology services
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure outstanding customer service delivery
What Were Looking For
- 3 years of experience working for a managed hosting company within a Data Center
- Strong technical knowledge of traditional infrastructure and a willingness to learn
- Structured processoriented and detailfocused approach
- ValidUK driving license
- Strong understanding oftechnology and logistics
- ComTIA A certification is a plus
- Must have theright to work in the UK
