Job Scope
This position is responsible for material processing reagent formulation technical manufacturing inprocess and final quality control of reagents critical raw materials and components for invitro diagnostic products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform inprocess testing and final Quality Control for Serum Proteins products per established procedures.
- Assist with cell culture and ascites production tasks on an as needed basis.
- Perform secondchecking to ensure accurate records.
- Utilize Good laboratory practices maintain clean workspace in Serum Proteins and Reagent Preparation labs. Contribute to group Reagent Preparation and Serum Proteins duties including lab and equipment maintenance.
- Utilize SAP (kitting ordering to Cost Center assign expiration dates etc. to ensure correct dating accounting and flow through facility.
- Participate in inventory accountability Production area cycle counts accurate charging of materials to work orders etc.
- Follow regulatory requirements follow document instructions and maintain reasonable documentation error rates.
- Ensure proper documentation by correcting errors noted in procedures and forms (ECO) with assistance.
- Perform tasks assigned in NCR/ Deviations Validations or CAPAs as needed.
- Ensure safety of self and others by complying with all company safety policies including use of PPE.
- Participate in team meetings and attend group training sessions.
Education Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Biology Medical Technology or related science field or a 2 year degree (i.e. MLT) with equivalent experience
- 1 years of related laboratory experience and/or demonstrated competence within the invitro diagnostic industry
- Basic understanding of immunology and immunoassay techniques
- Ability to work in a regulated environment
- Working knowledge of general lab equipment (e.g. pH meter balances mixers etc.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis
- Advanced skills in:
- Math and calculations
- Writing and documentation
- Grasping complex concepts and solutions
- Problemsolving and analytical skills

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $ $61000 $70000 Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to educations skills work experience certifications etc. Beyond base salary Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall wellbeing.
