Positi on: IT Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports to: Sales Manager
Overview:
The IT Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving
sales of IT products and services. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge
sales skills and customer relationship management. The IT Sales Executive will work closely
with clients to understand their needs recommend suitable IT solutions negotiate pricing and
contracts and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
o Generate leads through various channels including cold calling networking
and attending industry events.
Client Engagement:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their IT
needs and requirements.
o Conduct meetings presentations and product demonstrations to prospective
clients.
Solution Selling:
o Recommend suitable IT products and services that meet client needs.
o Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
Sales Negotiation:
o Negotiate pricing terms and conditions of contracts to close sales deals.
o Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery
of solutions.
Customer Satisfaction:
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional post
sales support.
o Address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain positive client
relationships.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
o Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
o Proven experience in IT sales or a similar role.
Skills and Competencies:
o Strong technical knowledge of IT products and services.
o Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to build and maintain longterm customer relationships. Additional Requirements:
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Willingness to travel as needed.
o Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
