Cambria County is seeking an Accountant 1 to join our fiscal team. In this position you will perform and assist with a variety of professional accounting work. This includes assisting with the preparation of budgets and related expenditures and revenues as well as with general ledger reports trial balances and journal entries. You will also prepare and process invoices and reconciliations related to placements client income and other requirements; develop fiscal manuals with detailed instructions for carrying out fiscal processes related to placements and invoicing for placement costs; and train fiscal technicians. Responsibilities also include cost allocations for quarterly reports conducting internal audits for the petty cash fund and pulling and analyzing various reports as needed.
Your accounting work will make it possible for our Children and Youth Juvenile Probation and related service providers to continue utilizing existing resources in an effective and efficient manner in the identification investigation and prevention of abuse and neglect of children in Cambria County.
