Cyber Risk Insurance Internship
Madrid Spain
You will discover the Underwriting Financial Lines team which aims to assess and underwrite Cyber risks. You will be able to work closely with our technical experts to learn from the work they do expose yourself on the front line to start your career in Insurance Cyber sector.

Hone your skills while gaining insight and professionalism in the insurance industry. Within a large multinational group you will have several tools at your disposal to develop your technical and transversal skills through training and courses from within the AXA training offer and through onthejob training with the most senior colleagues of the team internationally.
Specifically in collaboration with your tutor and your team you will enter the insurance market and deal with:
- Assist the team in the maintenance and development of its portfolio of activities while developing the necessary skills to understand cyber risk.
- Preparation of monthly reports and presentation that support the company in planning forecasting and providing analysis and reporting on the teams Cyber portfolio
- Understand the financial strategy and objectives of AXA XL Insurance and the Cyber team.
- Participation in internal meetings with Underwriters
- Development of an internal network to facilitate the transfer of information and data between functions and departments in order to meet the needs of underwriters.
SHARE your talent
We are looking for a motivated person with the following skills/abilities:
- Background of studies/Degree in economics bankinginsurance or Masters degree in Cyber Risk/ Cyber security
- Communicating and working in English
- Showing enthusiasm and curiosity for the world of major industrial risks
- Analyze data and use it effectively for risk analysis
- Organize and plan your activities managing your time effectively
- Listen and communicate effectively adapting to different stakeholders and changes proactively
- Working in teams with people with different skills and cultures to achieve common goals
- Use the Office package (Word Excel Outlook Power Point)
