Job Description
Senior Cloud Engineer:
The Senior Cloud Engineer will lead a team of skilled engineers in maintaining and providing technical solutions. This role requires a strong technical background coupled with exceptional leadership and management abilities. The Senior Engineer will oversee the technical direction of projects manage team members and ensure successful of all engineering activities. This position will play a key role in driving innovation fostering collaboration and achieving business objectives.
What will you do :
Implement and maintain scalable cloudbased solutions that meet our companys needs.
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications in the cloud environment.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Manage security best practices for cloud environments including identity and access management data encryption and compliance adherence.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloudrelated issues in a timely manner ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Mentor junior engineers by sharing your expertise and providing guidance on cloud technologies and best practices.
Stay current with emerging cloud trends and technologies recommending new solutions to enhance our existing architecture.
Proactively seek out opportunities to improve monitoring and alerting of our hosts and services and implement them in a timely fashion
Strong in research/analytical and problem solving skills and ability to gather analyze and document information clearly and efficiently
Document and manage run books for procedures tasks workflows and build that could potentially help the team and clients to interact with the Cloud Infrastructure.
Create & maintain SOP knowledge for necessary monitoring automation activities wherever needed
Manage and optimize database solutions in cloud environments ensuring reliability performance security and scalability of data storage and management systems.
Prepare weekly reports detailing the projects status and progress are presented consistently providing clear data statistics and information for effective communication and decisionmaking.
Willingness to support 24/7. Flexible to accommodate urgent customer needs over weekends and public holidays
Requirements
What we are looking for:
4 to 6 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud In depth knowledge in Linux .
Strong understanding of networking security and storage technologies.
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Support all aspects of Cloud operations on a daytoday basis and monitor continuous availability durability scale and uptime of multicloud platforms.
Experience in multiple log management systems(ELK Cloudwatch Datadog ..etc). Able to analyze and identify the issue based on the logs.
Experience in effectively managing and optimizing database solutions in the cloud while ensuring security compliance and performance.
Experience in multiple monitoring systems (Prometheus Grafana datadog Newrelic CloudwatchELK appdynamics ..etc). Able to integrate the application and servers to the respective monitoring system.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly team oriented & practices collaboration as a key to success.
Strong attention to details and able to handle concurrently multiple tasks.
Good to have certification on any cloud platform.
