Where You Will Work
Our Technology Center is home to a team of globally recognized engineers and scientists who provide innovative mining processing and environmental solutions to our operations throughout the world. Our employees make use of stateoftheart laboratories and test facilities including a fully automated analytical lab the first of its kind in the Americas. Employees provide direct support in a variety of areas: mineral processing hydrometallurgy analytical chemistry mineralogy process economics mining and geology.

What You Will Do
- Review investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects.
- Serve as Project Manager or Technical Expert on a wide range of small to medium site construction expansion or modification projects.
- Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
- Provide guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable processes practices and existing/proposed local state and federal regulations.
- May contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas.
- May represent the site on company sponsored steering teams such as Mill Operations Refinery Operations etc.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring To Freeport
- Bachelors degree in an appropriate Engineering disciplineandthree 3 years of related experience in EngineeringincludingProject Management experienceOR
- Masters degree in an appropriate Engineering disciplineandtwo 2 years of related experience in EngineeringincludingProject Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Mechanical Civil Electrical Structural engineering or closely related
- Strong safety knowledge with a commitment to safety
- Ability to commute from Tucson and Safford on a regular basis
- Project Management knowledge
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Supervisor/mentor experience
- Ability to work in a fastpaced/dynamic environment
What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87000$121000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience qualifications skills and other jobrelated factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. What We Require
