Job Description
We are seeking a midlevel associate to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy (c/d/p) practice group in New York NY focusing on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters. The ideal candidate will have 46 years of experience in regulatory investigations or litigation including consumer protection issues and defending data privacy and security class actions. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding awardwinning practice and work on highprofile cases in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security.
- Defend data privacy and security class actions including claims under the Stored Communications Act wiretapping and data breaches.
- Lead significant projects and engage directly with clients.
- Work closely with a team of over 30 attorneys across the US UK Europe and Asia.
Qualifications:
- 46 years of experience in privacy and data security litigation and/or regulatory investigations.
- Strong background in consumer protection issues and defending class actions.
- High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
- Strong analytical writing and communication skills.
- Tech fluency and the ability to engage with clients on complex matters.
