Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support Naval Hospital Jacksonville at Kings Bay GA. Core Responsibilities Psych Tech:
- Be the first line of support by conducting mental health assessments clinical interviews and standardized psychological testing.
- Provide therapeutic interventions including individual and group counseling.
- Monitor and report patient progress while ensuring safety through precautionary measures.
- Assist with referrals to public private and military agencies to ensure continuity of care.
- Offer compassionate support to individuals facing acute and posttraumatic stress reactions.
Core Responsibilities LPN/LVN:
- Deliver handson patient care including administering medications and monitoring treatments.
- Recognize and respond to emergent patient care situations ensuring swift and accurate interventions.
- Perform support duties for complex diagnostic tests and procedures assisting RNs and MDs.
- Educate patients and families promoting healthy outcomes and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team ensuring seamless and highquality care.
Requirements Psych Tech:
- Certificate in Psychiatric Technician training or equivalent education and experience.
- 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Technician after graduation.
Requirements LPN/LVN:
- Certificate from an accredited nursing program.
- 1 year of practical or vocational nurse experience postgraduation.
- Current full active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license.
