Job Description
Essential Functions:
1. Organizes and conducts movement of product workinprocess finished goods and materials for maximum efficiency;
2. Straps/bands and wraps product for shipment;
3. Operates material handling equipment such as hand jacks and motorized fork lifts;
4. Moves palletized material with hand or motorized fork trucks including loading/unloading trucks and moving material within the plant;
5. Brings packaging molded product and hardware to staging area;
6. Maintains accurate records of material transfers from workinprocess to finished goods;
7. Operates scales accurately;
8. Produces various shipping/receiving reports and performs administrative duties including packing slips bills of lading and receivers as needed;
9. Arranges orders and communicates with transportation suppliers regarding shipping and receiving of goods;
10. Ensures communication/information flow between departments and shifts is maintained and effective;
11. Uses the computer system to accurately and effectively track inventory transactions and coordinates shipping/receiving functions;
12. Assists with coordinating trucking schedules for outbound shipments;
13. Maintains open order files and issues receivers;
14. See read and follows work instructions and safety procedures;
15. Works with coworkers in a safe professional and cooperative manner;
16. Maintains good attendance flexibility in job assignments adaptable to changing business needs and continually learns and applies new skills;
17. Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered;
18. Meets minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodation;
19. Complies with all company polices and procedures;
20. Other duties as assigned.
