Visy is powering the circular economy closing the loop between packaging recycling and remanufacturing. We believe materials are not truly recycled until theyre made into something newand it all starts with Visy Recycling. As Australias largest recycler our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper cardboard glass plastics and metals from households and businesses and locally remanufacture them back into new sustainable packaging.
Role Details
As a Senior Business Analyst located in Tullamarine and reporting to the Business Integration Manager (Recycling National) you will be at the forefront of driving efficiency and innovation in our recycling and container deposit scheme (CDS) operations. Youll work crossfunctionally to analyse business needs identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhanceuser experience and support our strategic goals and profitability.
What youll do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and understand current state processes identify and document business requirements
- Identify and evaluate alternative options to ensure a best fit solution to the problem raised
- Design and implement solutions using best practice design principles to enhance user experience and ensure system stability performance and flexibility
- Support the delivery team in prioritising stories and managing backlogs
- Conduct or facilitate functional and user acceptance testing of application changes
- Provide end user training and develop user documentation to assist change adoption
- Promote and share knowledge and skills to implement best practices to uplift the overall performance and skill level of the group
What You Will Bring
- 7 years business analysis or project management experience
- A solid understanding of software development cycles and methodologies
- University qualifications in Information Technology Business Finance Engineering or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering user stories and process mapping
- Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to coordinate with crossfunctional teams and drive projects to successful completion
