Our Client:
Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit you will be encouraged to find new ways of working you will be an autonomous individual and ambitious to progress while obtaining further professional certification. The successful candidate will be a team player and will ideally be open to participating in a variety of projects leading all aspects of the audit engagement and supporting more junior members of staff on a project basis. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong motivation to be promoted as successor to the current Head of IT Audit.
The role:
- Global projects (up to 45 international travel)
- Leading international teams of up to four people
- IT General Controls
- Business Process reviews
- Quality Assurance reviews
- Perform special projects as assigned as well as compile and prepare special reports and presentations as required by Internal Audit Management
- Support Financial Audits when required
- Lead manage train and develop the IT audit team
- Conduct and participate in closing meetings with key stakeholders.

Desired Skills/Experience
- A BS/BA Degree preferably majoring in Information Systems or Computer Science or similar.
- CISA CIA or similar designation CISSP or CISM or similar certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT related internal or external audit or corporate IT Operations experience
- Technical IT or development experience considered an asset
- External big 4 consultancy experience is considered a plus.
- Financial and compliance audit experience is also considered an asset
- Remote audit and team leading experience considered an asset
