Job Overview
CGVAK Software & Exports Ltd. is seeking a talented Shopify and WordPress Developer to join our team in Coimbatore. This is a fulltime hybrid position suited for professionals with 4 to 6 years of experience. As a midlevel developer you will focus on creating and maintaining eCommerce solutions using Shopify and WordPress helping clients achieve their digital objectives through innovative and scalable platforms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of 4 to 6 years as a Shopify and WordPress Developer demonstrating successful project delivery.
- Must have excellent proficiency in Shopify Liquid for customizing and building Shopify Themes.
- Strong understanding of WordPress PHP for developing dynamic and responsive websites.
- Experience with JavaScript and HTML/CSS to create engaging and interactive user interfaces.
- Handson experience with WooCommerce for building and managing eCommerce stores on WordPress.
- Proficient in Shopify App Development ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs to enable consistent data exchange and integration with external services.
- Experience with Git version control for managing code and tracking changes effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes and plugins to meet specific client needs and design requirements.
- Create dynamic and responsive websites on WordPress while ensuring optimal loading time and functionality.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement new features and improve existing product functionality.
- Ensure high performance and availability of client websites by monitoring and optimizing SEO and site speed.
- Work with RESTful APIs for seamless integration with thirdparty plugins and services.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure flawless user experiences and responsive design across devices.
- Maintain detailed documentation and codebase organization for projects and provide support for live websites.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies applying best practices to current and future projects.
