About the Role
The Grade 2 Medical Scientist in Cytogenetics (Analytical) will primarily be performing chromosome and microarray analysis on cancer specimens.
Classifications for this position will range from classification range RY4RY7 $94478 $106906 per annum pro rata).
A higher Qualifications allowance is also available depending on qualifications (MHGSA Masters FHGSA FFSc and PhD).

About The Victorian Cancer Cytogenetic Service
The Victorian Cancer Cytogenetic Service is the statewide service provider for cancer cytogenetic services in the state of Victoria and is a part of St Vincents Pathology. We are the largest cancer cytogenetic laboratory in Australasia and recently celebrated our 60th birthday.
The team is a lovely mix of experienced and newer staff and we have a culture of education and development. Over the last few years we have commenced transitioning some types of chromosome analysis across to microarray including myeloma and aplastic anaemia.
