Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of certificate having successfully completed approved basic peace officer training program or completion of 20 yrs. active duty as peace officer per Section 109.78(D) of Ohio revised code; valid drivers license. Probationary period is one year. Note: Applicant must be able to successfully perform Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Program (OPOTC) Fitness Testing Entry Standards for New Recruits

What youll do at OhioMHAS:
Performs police related duties per hospital policy
Secures buildings and grounds by foot or vehicle patrol
Advises the public of policies
Escorts visitors to visitation
Assists nursing staff during emergency codes per policy
Conducts investigations on alleged violations of hospital policy
Completes documentation as required
This is anhourly position covered by the State of Ohio Unit 2 bargaining unit (union) with a pay range of 10on theUnit 2Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are variable. This position is located within COBH at 2200 W. Broad St. Columbus OH 43223.
