The OHSU Center for Mental Health Innovation (CMHI) under the directorship of Dr. Bonnie Nagel has an opening for a highly motivated mental health clinician/researcher to support a large multisite study (the IMPACT study) aimed at refining our ability to predict childhood psychopathology (e.g. ADHD depression suicide) and prognosis using existing datasets combining behavioral demographic healthcare record and cognitive data and then testing our predictive algorithms in patients across 4 data collections sites across the U.S. against the gold standard Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (KSADS) semistructured diagnostic interview. This person will conduct protocol diagnostic interviews using the KSADS train and provide oversight to a team of graduate student volunteers and research assistants also conducting diagnostic KSADS interviews across the 4 data collection sites for a total of approximately 7500 parent/caregivers and youth over two years. This position will require strong clinical skills awareness of DSMV diagnostic criteria and symptoms as well as ability and willingness to regularly engage in risk assessment for youth. This individual will interact with the IMPACT study Project Manager and Principal Investigators on a regular basis to provide updates on progress and ensure milestones are being met. They will also meet with a licensed Psychologist weekly for clinical supervision oversight and licensing requirements if needed.
